Getting Started is Easy

  • Secure Comfortably

Use the simple magnetic buckle to comfortably secure the Inpulse device behind your neck.

    • Tip: Before your first use, take a moment to become familiar with the magnetic buckle. Practice gently snapping it closed and opening it a few times. This helps ensure you can easily secure and remove Inpulse comfortably when you’re ready to meditate.
  • Optimal Placement

Position Inpulse near the base of your throat, (just below your Adam’s apple for men), until you can hear your breath distinctly. If your breath sounds faint, slide the chamber a finger-width higher, lower, or slightly off-center until the sound snaps into focus.

  • Adjust Comfort

Use the adjustable side sliders to achieve a snug yet comfortable fit. The device should rest naturally against your skin without causing any pressure or discomfort.

  • Choose Earbuds

Your Inpulse includes multiple sizes of earbuds. Choose the size that comfortably fits your ear canal for optimal sound clarity. Experiment with each to find your perfect fit.

    • Tip: A snug, sealed earbud equals fuller bass and less outside noise.
  • Breathe and Listen

Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and breathe naturally. Focus gently on the amplified sound of your breath and heartbeat, allowing these soothing sounds to guide you effortlessly into a state of calm and clarity.

    • Tip: Pick a quiet spot. Sit tall. Let your breath settle for 10 minutes; that’s enough time for your nervous system to drop into calm.
  • Remove and Store Safely

Remove gently after use (pinch magnetic clasp).

Troubleshooting & tips

I can’t hear anything

Quick isolate test

  1. Leave the neck strap off and sit in a quiet room.
  2. Insert foam tips that seal firmly.
  3. Hold the chamber at the soft pocket at the base of your throat (under your Adam's Apple for men)
  4. Hum gently, you should hear the hum right away.
  5. Take a slow breath. A soft whoosh is the baseline breath sound.

If you still hear nothing

• Slide the chamber a few millimetres left, right, up, or down until the sound pops in.

• Check for kinks or sharp bends in the tubing. It should curve smoothly from chamber to ears.

• If the tubes feel short, peel them off the elbows near the earpieces, re-seat them without pushing all the way in, and test again.

• Once you find the sweet spot, re-attach the strap and adjust the sliders so it holds that position hands-free.

It’s too loud / boomy

• Loosen strap by sliding the sliders back on either side

• Use smaller ear-tips for a looser seal

Earbuds pop out or tube kinks

• Check tube length first. If the tube feels too long, slide it up the elbow or remove the elbow, snip a few millimetres off, and re-attach.

• If the tube feels short, pull it out slightly from the elbow to add slack.

• Confirm the eartip size. A too-large tip can push itself out; swap to the next size down and re-seat with a gentle twist.
